The 55th SVA Davos Congress (SVA – Davoser Kongress) of the Schweizerischer Verband Medizinischer Praxis-Fachpersonen (SVA) takes place from 30 October to 1 November 2026 at the Kongresszentrum Davos under the lead theme of addiction, «Die leise Macht von Sehnsucht». Its lectures and practical workshops cover recognising addiction early, dealing with addiction diagnostics and communication in everyday practice, current therapy approaches and established harm-reduction policies, and are aimed at medical practice assistants and coordinators, scientific staff and those responsible for training; the congress language is German and an industry exhibition runs alongside.
