The Dubai World Insurance Congress (DWIC), launched in 2017 and organised by Global Reinsurance, is a meeting place for senior executives from insurers, reinsurers, brokers, MGAs and consultants. The 2026 edition, a special edition moved to December under the theme "Together Through Uncertainty", combines pre-scheduled one-to-one business meetings through an online meeting scheduler with main-stage speaker sessions and closed-door Chatham House roundtables covering the DIFC, climate risk, MGAs, geopolitics and malicious risk, and regional markets such as the GCC, Türkiye, Central Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.
