ECTES 2027 – 26th European Congress of Trauma and Emergency Surgery

The 26th European Congress of Trauma and Emergency Surgery (ECTES 2027) is the annual congress of the European Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery (ESTES), held at the Zurich Convention Center (Kongresshaus Zürich) from 25 to 27 April 2027 under the theme "United in expertise, driven to excellence". Japan is the guest nation, represented by the Japanese Association for the Surgery of Trauma (JAST) and the Japanese Orthopaedic Trauma Association (JOTA). The programme addresses disaster and military surgery, emergency surgery, polytrauma, orthopaedic and skeletal trauma, sports medicine, visceral trauma and nursing, and includes pre-courses such as a REBOA course, a spine course with the Swiss Society of Spinal Surgery and AO, a pelvic course, an AO roadshow, robotic surgery content, a symposium endorsed by SUVA and visits to the Swiss Air-Rescue (Rega) centre, with an accompanying industry exhibition.
