Slush is a startup event run by a Helsinki-based not-for-profit organisation, owned by the Startup Foundation, whose mission is to help and create founders. Founded in 2008 as a 250-person gathering, it brings together European startups, investors and tech journalists, and is organised by students and recent graduates with a large volunteer team. The 2026 main event takes place on 18–19 November at Messukeskus in Helsinki, preceded by Investor Day and other Day 0 events on 17 November and surrounded by side events across Slush week.
