Abdulkareem Bucheery

Mr. Bucheery is currently chairman of Bahrain Bourse, Chairman of Bahrain Clear Co. Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Naseej Co. and a Board Member and Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee of Al UBAF Bank in Bahrain. Previously he was the Chairman of Credimax, the then CapinnovaIslamic Investment Bank, Vice Chairman of the Boards and Chairman of the Executive Committees ofkhaleeji Commercial Bank and Ibdar Bank, Director of the Board of Bahrain Commercial Facilities Co. , Tamkeen, SICO, CBB'S deposit Protection Fund and the Waqf Fund. Prior to his retirement in April 2016 he was the Group Chief Executive Officer of BBK and a member of is Executive Committee. Mr Bucheery holds a BSc in Economic Sciences from Aleppo University, a High Certificate in Credit Programme (CAD) from Citi Bank Athens and a Management Diploma from Darden Business School, Virginia.
