Aga Fatalska
Senior Scientist, Astrazeneca
Aga is a protein scientist with expertise in structural mass spectrometry and protein characterisation. She completed a joint PhD programme at the University of Cambridge and the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory in Warsaw, studying centriolar proteins and complexes using HDX-MS. She subsequently joined the MRC-LMB as a Career Development Fellow, where she investigated the Integrated Stress Response and uncovered the mechanism of trimeric translation initiation factor (eIF2) recruitment by its phosphatase, R15B. Since May 2025, she has been a Senior Scientist in AstraZeneca’s Protein Science Team, delivering protein reagents to support early drug discovery projects and hit discovery campaigns. She also develops and applies MS-based methods, including HDX-MS and Native MS.
