Agit Singh

Agit Singh is the executive head of processing operations at Valterra Platinum, wherehe drives optimisation, operational efficiency and technological innovation. A seasonedleader with more than 27 years of experience in mineral processing, hydrometallurgy,and process control and automation, he has led numerous projects across Africa andSouth America. Agit joined the Anglo American Group in 2008 and held various roles within its platinumbusiness over the years. These included lead process control engineer, generalmanager of the Precious Metals Refinery, head of human resources, and the executivehead of processing technical. In his latest role, he led the technical development ofprocessing systems and guided teams focused on improving process efficiency andadvancing sustainable practices. Agit holds a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering and an MBA. He is amember of SAIMM, and is also a prolific writer who has published several academic andscholarly papers.
