My data journey started with an econometrics degree, which involved a wide range of coding, from R to Java and C! This technical foundation led me to my first role, organising Econometrics Summer Schools with Oxford and Cambridge Universities, including working as a teaching assistant. I spent over a decade in analytics consulting and marketing data science before joining Monzo. In my first year at Monzo, I led the Workforce Management Data Science team, focusing on algorithmic prioritisation and workforce operations. Today, I lead Data Science across Monzo’s growing autonomous resolution function, partnering with Product, Engineering, and ML to build agentic AI for Customer Operations - focusing on AI-powered support automation, experimentation, and safe deployment. I’m deeply passionate about building inclusive data teams and proud to have established and lead the Women in Data x Monzo partnership. I’m a strong advocate for sustainable working, particularly supporting working parents
