Akhil Sharath

Akhil Sharath is a Director in PwC’s Treasury practice with 15 years of experience in finance and nearly 10 years in treasury. He has delivered a broad range of treasury transformation and optimization initiatives, including Treasury Management System (TMS) selection and implementations, treasury operating model design, debt and investment management and strategy, risk management, cash and banking, forecasting, controls, working capital improvement programs, and technology. Most recently, Akhil has been leading AI-enabled transformation efforts for large corporate clients across cash management and forecasting, banking, relationship management, user access, reporting, debt and other AI-first initiatives. helping modernize treasury processes and decision-making. Akhil earned his MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, with a focus on financing and data analytics.
