Albert Stieglitz

Albert (BJ) Stieglitz is a member of the firm's White Collar, Government & Internal Investigations team. His 12+ years in complex, cross-border white-collar criminal enforcement have given him a deep understanding of foreign and domestic corporate criminal investigations and litigation that enables him to help clients navigate the challenges of multi-jurisdictional investigations conducted by the world's most active enforcement agencies. As the Acting Principal Deputy Chief of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Criminal Fraud Section, BJ oversaw the work of the Fraud Section’s FCPA, Market Integrity and Major Frauds, and Health Care Fraud units, managed interagency relationships with enforcement partners including U.S. Attorneys’ Offices, the SEC, and the FBI, and participated in the implementation of key aspects of DOJ corporate criminal enforcement policy. He also served as the first-ever DOJ prosecutor detailed to the UK’s Serious Fraud Office (SFO) and Financial Conduct Authority
