Alex Friend is CEO of GravTech, a globally backed deep-tech startup pioneering drone-deployed Continuous Gravity Gradiometry (CG3) for subsurface surveying and geospatial applications. An experienced executive with a career spanning principal investment, real assets and venture commercialisation, Alex has held positions at Macquarie Group, Canary Wharf Group and Petrofac, including a period based in the Middle East. He has worked extensively across global energy and infrastructure sectors, including oil and gas, construction and the energy transition. Combining investor and operator perspectives, Alex focuses on consolidating, protecting and creating value within complex commercial environments.
