Alexie Sommer

Alexie Sommer is creative director, sustainability strategist, and communicator who leads design-led, data-driven initiatives that embed sustainability and drive systems change. As co-founder of URGE collective, she curates and manages the 'Design Skills for Embedding Circularity' programme, and conducts design research for cultural institutions that examines the environmental impact of exhibition design. Alexie is co-instigator of Design Declares, a global movement for climate action in the design industry and is recognized as a Design Council ‘Design for Planet’ expert. She creates measurable impact through thoughtful, engaging, and visually compelling design and innovation programmes across sectors
