Amie Dobinson

Amie Dobinson has over 15 years of experience leading service transformation, innovation, and strategic partnerships across the voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) sector. Her expertise spans children and young people's services, mental health, homelessness, learning disabilities, and integrated health and care. At Barnardo’s, Amie has led the development of innovative programmes that reduce health inequalities and improve outcomes through early intervention and prevention. These include introducing Family Support Workers into Emergency Departments and expanding Digital Family Hub services across England and Wales. Prior to joining Barnardo’s, she played a pivotal role in establishing Open Mental Health, a pioneering VCSE alliance in Somerset that brings together NHS, local authority, and VCSE partners to improve support for local communities.
