Amna Khan-Patel

Amna Khan-Patel is a pharmacist who currently is the senior engagement manager for healthcare at GS1 UK. She was a chief pharmaceutical officer’s clinical fellowship (2023/24) at NHS England in the Digital Medicines Programme. During her fellowship, she led a national project on closed loop medicines management, assessing system adoption, enablers and barriers for widespread adoption across the NHS. She previously worked in secondary care, completing an MSc focused on quality improvement to support the implementation of an electronic pharmacy handover. Amna is a member of the Royal College of Pharmacy Digital Pharmacy Expert Advisory Group. She is passionate about the ongoing development of the pharmacy workforce and is committed to advancing digital literacy in the sector, ensuring that technology enhances both the quality of care and patient outcomes.
