André Burdet

André Burdet is Head of eMobility business at SSIB (Strategic Social Innovation Business) for Hitachi. André joined Hitachi in 2017 as Head of Strategy, Product Management and Marketing for the Grid Integration business unit. Prior to this, André held executive positions in engineering, business development, marketing, and product management at technology start-ups, Alstom, ABB and General Electric. He has over 20 years of experience in the power industry, bringing business meaning to market dynamics, transforming business models, and driving global teams to deliver innovation and growth. André is a Swiss and French citizen and holds an MSc from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL, Switzerland), a PhD from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH, Switzerland), and an MBA from Warwick Business School (UK). He is currently based in Zurich, Switzerland.
