Andrea Espei

Andrea Espei is an occupational therapist (OT B.Sc.) with over 30 years of experience working with children with motor impairments and complex assistive device needs. Andrea has held numerous leadership roles, including Managing Director of a children’s rehabilitation centre and Head of an early intervention centre. As an educator and trainer, she lectured at the Universities of Applied Sciences in Osnabrück, Göttingen, Hamburg, Konstanz, and Krems and is an international speaker in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Great Britain, France, and Australia. She has co-authored several specialist books, her expertise is also reflected in numerous specialist articles and contributions on paediatric rehabilitation. In her current role as Head of Training at Schuchmann, she supports specialist retailers and therapists worldwide in the clinical and therapeutic application of assistive devices in childhood.
