Andy Bagnall

Andy Bagnall is the Director General of the British Soft Drinks Association (BSDA), representing UK producers of soft drinks, from carbonated beverages and juices to bottled waters. In this role, he leads the industry’s engagement with governments across the UK to ensure environmental initiatives and public health policy proposals are practical and evidence-based. At the start of his career, Andy spent a number of years working in politics, including as a Government special adviser, before joining the CBI, becoming Director of Campaigns. He was Director of External Affairs at KPMG UK, before taking roles in rail industry trade bodies as Director General of the Rail Delivery Group and then Chief Executive of Rail Partners.
