Andy Haig

Andy is an IoT Business Development Manager at Vodafone with extensive experience in cellular connectivity, radio systems and critical infrastructure. An electronic engineer by background, Andy has spent much of his career working at the intersection of communications technology and large-scale operational systems. Since 2009, his focus has been IoT and smart metering across electricity, water and gas markets worldwide, spanning technology, architecture, regulation and deployment. He has worked with NB-IoT since before its 3GPP standardisation. His work combines deep technical expertise with a practical understanding of how communications technologies can be applied to the evolving needs of utilities and critical infrastructure.
