Antigoni Gogolou
Research Associate, Milner Therapeutics Institute, University Of Cambridge
Dr Antigoni Gogolou is a Research Associate in the Functional Genomics Screening Laboratory (FGSL) at the Milner Therapeutics Institute, University of Cambridge, where she develops high-throughput arrayed CRISPR screening workflows in advanced human cell models. Over the past two years, she has focused on automating and troubleshooting screens in complex, physiologically relevant systems, including patient-derived 3D organoids and iPSC (induced pluripotent stem cell)-derived models. She recently completed an arrayed CRISPR screen in a 3D organoid model of inflammatory bowel disease. She completed her PhD in Biomedical Science at the University of Sheffield, where she used human pluripotent stem cell models to study developmental processes in vitro, with a focus on enteric nervous system biology, before joining FGSL. Alongside her research, Antigoni serves as Early Career Researcher (ECR) representative for the UK Human Functional Genomics Initiative, representing ECR interests and fost
