Anya Albot

FEATURED SPEAKER Geoscientist by background. After completing her Master’s degree in 2014, she joined the research team in the Geology and Geochemistry Department at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, where she worked as a research and teaching associate for three years. Anya joined Woodside Energy in the Perth office in 2017 as an exploration geologist working on prospectivity in offshore Gabon and Congo, West Africa. She subsequently worked as a geohazard analyst and development geologist on projects in offshore Southeast Asia and Australia. From 2022, Anya led well planning and geosteering for the Sangomar deepwater oil development offshore Senegal, overseeing the design and execution of deepwater, extended-reach horizontal producer and injector wells. She joined Rystad Energy in 2025 as a lead in drilling and well research within the supply chain team.
