Aura Popa is Senior Director of Game Science and Insights at 2K, part of Take-Two Interactive, where she leads data-driven strategy and analytics for the Core Games portfolio — spearheading game science innovation that uses AI and advanced analytics to shape how some of the world's biggest gaming franchises are built, marketed and played. A Chartered Statistician with over 15 years' experience across technology, media and research, she previously served as Senior Director of Analytics & AI at Gartner, advising Chief Data Officers globally and contributing to the Magic Quadrants for Analytics & BI and Data Science & ML, with earlier leadership roles at Nominet, Euromoney, Sony and Disney. Aura champions high-performing data science teams built on statistical rigour, data storytelling and responsible AI — a conviction she brings to the debate stage.
