With 10+years in the FMCG space-spanning packaging development, recycling infrastructure development and policy navigation-Awantika brings a rare end-to-end view of the value chain. She can translate complex sustainability challenges into actionable strategies to foster collaboration across industry, government, and consumers, accelerating progress towards a more circular future. Awantika currently serves as the Sustainability Manager for Tetra Pak UK & Ireland, where she leads the company’s work on recycling, circularity, and environmental policy engagement. Since joining Tetra Pak in 2020, she has delivered major initiatives to strengthen carton collection and recycling infrastructure across the UK and Europe. This has included securing £1.3 million in sorting investments, so far collaborating with Material Recovery Facilities across England and Scotland, to enhance capabilities for sorting.
