Bas van Ooijen

Bas van Ooijen is Head of Investment Management for Pensioenfonds Horeca & Catering. Bas joined the Pension Fund in 2011. He leads the investment management team that is responsible for the selection and monitoring of external asset managers in both public and private markets. The team serves as strategic advisor to the Pension Fund Board on topics like investment strategy, balance sheet management and ESG. Bas holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam. He completed the RBA program at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and is a CAIA Charterholder.
