Becky Preen

Becky is an experienced sewist and crafter who has been teaching patchwork, quilting, jewellery making and general crafts for over 20 years. Becky took an academic sciences route in school but was making her own school uniform in secondary school under the expert guidance of her Mum. Becky now holds a Level 3 City and Guilds Certificate and a Diploma in stitched textiles. She has been formally teaching multiple subjects for Adult Community Learning Essex for over 15 years and holds A lifelong learning teaching qualification. She is now teaching mixed arts and crafts to Supported Learning groups with additional needs as well as GCSE Biology and Chemistry to adults looking to change their careers. Becky’s studio in Harlow has regular schedule of classes throughout the year and she enjoys teaching workshops.
