Bhuvaneish Selvaraj

Bhuvaneish Selvaraj is a Senior Research Fellow at the UK Dementia Research Institute at the University of Edinburgh. As a translational neurobiologist his work focuses on understanding the fundamental mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases including Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and Frontotemporal Dementia to identify novel therapeutic targets. He also translates fundamental discoveries to drug discovery using high-throughput phenotypic screening. Furthermore, he contributes to the drug selection panel for national clinical trial platforms for ALS, MND-SMART and EXPERTS-ALS
