Bisila Noha
Artist, Thrown Contemporary
Bisila Noha is a Spanish‑Equatoguinean ceramic artist, researcher and writer based in London. Her practice blends wheel‑thrown pottery with marbled slip decoration, alongside sculptural forms made through coiling and carving, to explore themes of home, identity and cultural memory. She challenges Western hierarchies in craft, foregrounds the contributions of women of colour, and draws deeply on her ancestral roots. Emily Ponsonby is a British painter and printmaker living in Dorset. She is best known for her beeswax-based encaustic technique, layering and sculpting pigment in wax to evoke textured, tactile surfaces. Her work centers on the human form, connecting intimate, everyday moments with nature and emotional resonance.
