Brent Leadbetter

Brent Leadbetter serves as Head of RAFI Distribution at TMX VettaFi, overseeing client outreach and distribution strategy across institutional investors, consultants, asset managers, and financial advisors. Brent joined Research Affiliates in 2009, which became part of TMX VettaFi in August 2026. Brent has helped investors select index solutions for nearly 20 years. He held prior roles working with asset managers and both institutional and individual investors at AllianceBernstein, AG Edwards, and Merrill Lynch. Brent received his Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Michigan and his Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of CFA Institute and CFA Society Orange County.
