Brian Kennedy

Brian spearheads innovation across BCLP’s global Real Estate practice. His work focuses on shaping the practice group’s innovation portfolio, supporting the effective adoption of legal technology, and developing practical solutions that improve efficiency, enhance client service and support new ways of working. Brian has 20 years’ experience spanning senior legal practice and legal innovation roles. This includes more than a decade as a senior real estate lawyer at a major international law firm, advising on a wide range of investment, development, asset management, real estate finance and corporate real estate transactions. Prior to joining BCLP, Brian was Head of Legal Engineering and Innovation at a leading legaltech platform, playing an integral role in developing AI-enabled products for real estate due diligence and associated legal workflows. He has particular expertise in applying artificial intelligence to legal content, leading an award-winning generative AI initiative at BCLP
