Busola Ade-Ojo

My name is Busola Ade-Ojo and I am a senior NHS pharmacy, radiopharmacy, imaging leader with many years’ experience across medicines optimisation, market access, high-cost medicines, commissioning, diagnostics, radiopharmacy and regulated pharmaceutical services. I have held senior roles for over 22 years’ including Chief Pharmacist, Director of Pharmacy and Director of Medicines Optimisation across three NHS hospitals, as well as Group Head of Radiopharmacy and Nuclear Medicine, and Chief Radiopharmacist. My career has focused on improving patient access to innovative medicines and specialist services while ensuring safety, governance, financial sustainability and regulatory compliance. A major part of my work has involved market access and the practical implementation of new therapies within the NHS. I have worked closely with commissioners, NHS England, CCGs/ICBs, clinicians, finance teams and industry partners to support patient access schemes, high-cost medicines, biosimilars, QIP
