Cat Lynch

Lynch began her career as a creative intern at Endemol UK before moving into production and development at ITV Studios and Monkey Kingdom. She later returned to Endemol, managing and training teams of creative interns and generating ideas across factual, comedy entertainment and quiz for the central development team. Focusing on entertainment, Lynch became head of development and later creative director of Banijay label Initial, leading development and executive producing series including The Almost Impossible Game Show (ITV2) and long-running quiz Tenable (ITV1). In 2018, Lynch became co-MD of Initial, overseeing a push into younger-skewing content and reality with shows including The Singles Table (ITVBe), The Games (ITV1) and Beauty & the Geek (Discovery), as well as Soccer Aid. Before leaving in 2023, Initial sold Big Brother to ITV and adapted international format 99 to Beat for the UK market.
