Catherine Stoneman

Catherine joined Kido when the organisation opened its very first nursery in London and has played an instrumental role in its growth journey ever since. Having held a number of leadership roles across the business, she stepped into the position of CEO in April 2025. Under Catherine’s leadership, Kido has grown to a network of more than 20 nurseries, all rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted. Catherine is deeply passionate about delivering the highest quality early years education and care, whilst ensuring this is underpinned by a strong commitment to supporting and valuing Kido’s people. Today, Kido employs more than 550 colleagues, including a thriving cohort of 120 apprentices. The organisation is incredibly proud of its people and child-first culture, which has been consistently recognised through accolades including being named one of the UK’s Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers and a Top 20 Day Nursery Group for five consecutive years.
