Cathy Arnold

This summer Cathy left her role at University of Leeds and is now Associate Director at Animo Consultancy. Her experience includes managing the national secure data environment for cancer, developing and implementing data strategies and delivering multiple complex transformation programmes across the public sector. She is now working on a portfolio of projects, as well as being an active WiD and member of the WiD Women's Health Steering Group. Her recent work gained recognition as a finalist at the British Data Awards 2026. An expert project delivery professional and graduate of the Civil Service/University of Oxford Major Projects Leadership Academy, she has experience of strategy, policy and delivery in the public sector, specifically focussing on estates and data programmes. Cathy has held senior roles in the Civil Service at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO), Office for National Statistics and the National Portrait Gallery.
