Charles Morris

Charlie Morris is the founder of ByteTree. He has 28 years’ experience in fund management, where he has built a reputation for actively managed, multi-asset portfolios, with strong risk management. He writes the weekly Multi-Asset Letter to a large client base, covering equities, bonds, commodities, alternative assets, and crypto. He is also the creator of the BOLD index, which combines Bitcoin and Gold on a risk-weighted basis, and has an ETF, ticker BOLD, listed across major European exchanges. He has been a member of the STA since 1998 and sits on the investment committee. Technical analysis has played a large part in his investment process, and he created ByteTrend , which turns charts into numbers, in both absolute and relative terms, which delivers efficiencies for trend followers, especially in global equities.
