Charlotte Timbury

Charlotte began her optics career over 25 years ago and qualified as a dispensing optician in 2002. Following 16 years in independent practice, she joined Essilor as a business development manager before moving to the professional relations team in 2018, where she focused on CPD, spectacle lens design and professional education. In 2021, Charlotte led the launch of Essilor Stellest, a myopia management solution across North Europe, followed by the launch of Varilux XR series. In 2024, she was appointed Director of medical and professional affairs for North Europe and leads a field-based team of clinicians supporting optometry, ophthalmology and orthoptics across the UK and Ireland.
