Christof Jaeger

Christof Jäger is Senior Director in Pharmaceutical Sciences at AstraZeneca, where he leads strategic initiatives in predictive chemistry, machine learning, and AI-driven approaches to drug development. With over 20 years of experience spanning academia and industry, his work focuses on integrating computational chemistry, AI, and data science to enable smarter decision-making in drug development including synthesis, reactivity, process optimisation, and formulation development. Christof has led cross-functional and matrix teams, contributed to digital transformation strategies across R&D, and collaborates extensively across disciplines and with academic partners, including his role as Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham.
