Christopher Sheehan

Christopher Sheehan is CEO and co-founder of WorldCover, a New-York based fintech startup that offers weather index insurance in emerging markets. He graduated from MIT with degrees in Computer Science and Finance and spent 8 years in quantitative asset management in New York City. Chris has been a quantitative researcher, risk manager, and portfolio manager at Deutsche Bank, Roc Capital, and System Two Advisors, where he was founding partner and lead technologist. WorldCover has raised more than $6 million to date and has offices in New York, Amsterdam, Accra, Kampala, and Nairobi.
