Chung-Yan Chow

Chow became Editor-in-Chief in 2025. He has directed the paper's China coverage since 2007, building it into one of the world's leading sources on China, and opened bureaus in New York, Washington, Brussels and Nairobi. He launched the Post's Open Questions interview series and the award-winning premium product SCMP Plus, and is a regular columnist on US-China affairs.
