Claire Grigson

Katie Ford FRCVS and Claire Grigson MRCVS are experienced veterinary surgeons, coaches and co-founders of Vet Empowered, with over 30 years’ combined experience across first opinion practice, charity, ECC and leadership roles. They are passionate about supporting the humans of veterinary medicine to reconnect with themselves beyond their job titles, and to create careers and workplaces that feel meaningful, sustainable and aligned with who they are. Through coaching, speaking, CPD, workshops, events and organisational collaborations, Katie and Claire have supported hundreds of veterinary professionals and teams to navigate the human side of veterinary practice, strengthen self-awareness and leadership, and build healthier, more empowered ways of working. Their work brings together extensive experience of veterinary medicine with a trauma-informed, human-centred approach to leadership, culture and professional wellbeing – and is often described by those they support as ‘life changing’.
