Courtney Nickels

Ms. Nickels serves as a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Healthcare business at Artemis Real Estate Partners, where she is responsible for the strategy, growth, and performance of the healthcare business line. In her role, Ms. Nickels leads and oversees transactions, including the acquisition of core, core-plus and value-add equity investments, debt origination, and asset management. She plays an integral role in investment decision-making and capital deployment across the healthcare platform. Ms. Nickels joined Artemis in 2018 and is based in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to joining Artemis, she held an acquisitions role with Formation Capital, where she participated in more than $1.8 billion in healthcare real estate transactions. Earlier in her career, she held real estate acquisitions positions with The JBG Companies and J.E. Robert Companies (JER Partners).
