Cyril Vanderheyden

Cyril joined AM Green in 2024 to lead the company’s business development activities in Europe. As the first representative on the ground, he plays a key role in connecting AM Green’s operations in India with European markets, building strategic partnerships and structuring long-term offtake agreements for green hydrogen and ammonia. AM Green is among the frontrunners in the global green molecules space, with one of the largest green ammonia projects globally to have started construction to date. The company has also secured a landmark offtake agreement with Uniper and is the first Indian project to receive RFNBO precertification, positioning it at the forefront of compliant green molecule exports to Europe. Prior to joining AM Green, Cyril worked at McKinsey & Company and Frontier Economics, advising energy and industrial clients on strategy, decarbonisation, and growth. He holds degrees in Economics from University College London and Maastricht University.
