Damiano Giubertoni

Damiano Giubertoni graduated in Physics at University of Modena, Italy, in 1999 and joined Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) in 2000, working in materials analysis, becoming expert in secondary ion mass spectrometry and in advanced doping processes for Silicon technology. From 2012, his research activity focused on ion irradiation induced nanostructures and in 2016 he moved to nanofabrication acquiring competences on focused ion beam (FIB) and electron beam lithography. He coordinated the FBK new nanofabrication laboratories since 2018, and from 2022 his main projects have been related to the FIB deterministic fabrication of defects in semiconductors for quantum technology.
