Daniel Lawrence is the CEO and Co-Founder of Bots For That (BFT), a UK-based AI and automation company building intelligent products for the accounting sector. A qualified accountant, Daniel brings almost three decades of finance and business transformation experience from global organisations including Coca-Cola, Oracle, Yahoo, Gilead Sciences, Varian Medical and SanDisk, where he led major shared service and transformation programmes across Europe, Asia and the Middle East. He founded BFT to bring that same rigour to the accounting sector, building a business, backed by Foresight Group and the British Business Bank, that pairs conversational AI with intelligent automation under a “Automation-as-a-Service” model. Daniel is a regular voice in the business, technology and accounting press, and a sought-after speaker at industry events, webinars and podcasts on the practical realities of AI adoption.
