Daniele Filiault

Daniele Filiault is Senior Data Scientist at Bayer Crop Science, where she develops and applies innovative genomics approaches for large-scale plant breeding programmes. Her work spans population genetics, quantitative genetics, genome-wide association studies, plant genomics and adaptation genomics, with a particular focus on translating genomic insights into practical breeding applications. At Bayer, she is especially interested in exploring strategies to incorporate diverse historical germplasm into modern breeding. Before joining Bayer, Daniele spent more than a decade at the Gregor Mendel Institute researching plant adaptation, natural variation and evolutionary genomics.
