David has worked at the leading edge of Smart Ticketing Systems for over 30 years. He was involved in the early development of Oyster, ITSO, mobile location based and Contactless Bankcards ticketing. More recently this included implementing a rail pilot smart phone geolocation account based ticketing system as well as leading the technical implementation of the STNR ITSO programmes on UK rail at RDG. David also worked with the UKCA on contactless Bank solutions for ticketing as well as bespoke smart ticketing schemes in the UK and across Europe. These have included a range of product based solutions as well as Pay as You Go and Account based ticketing schemes using different media.
