Dave Watts

David has worked in justice for over 25 years, starting his career in the magistrates’ courts with what is now HM Courts & Tribunals Service. Over 12 years in the department, he worked across criminal and civil justice, including listing, case progression, and public and private family law, before moving into national transformation programmes in the crime jurisdiction. Now part of CGI’s justice team, David brings a blend of frontline court experience, transformation delivery and supplier-side perspective. He is passionate about practical justice reform and how responsible AI adoption can help the CJS move from insight to action while protecting fairness, trust and human judgment.
