David Field

David T. Field co-founded Arroyo in 2003 and has over 35 years of experience investing in the power and energy industries. He is responsible for Arroyo’s overall business development and daily operations. Mr. Field oversees transaction origination, negotiation and execution, as well as risk management and financial reporting for Arroyo. To date, Arroyo has over ~$4 billion in assets under management in the energy space. Prior to establishing Arroyo, Mr. Field was a Managing Director and Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at El Paso Merchant Energy. During his tenure there, he was responsible for the investment of an annual capital budget of over $400 million. Under his management, the group acquired more than 20 interests in power-generating investment companies, totaling more than $1.3 billion in investments.
