Davide Segat

Rome wasn’t built in a day, and despite the fact Davide Segat is from Veneto, even he’ll agree that his wealth of bartending experience didn’t happen overnight. He came to the murky shores of the UK back in 2003, and it wasn’t long before he found himself at the Connaught, working under the enviable apprenticeship of the likes of Brian Silva, Angela Hartnett and Gordon Ramsay. At the end of 2007, sunnier climes drew him to Miami where he spent a year learning the ropes of the south beach super clubs; a vast departure from your British 5*settings. In 2008 he returned to old Blighty and took up residence at the inimitable Green & Red, where his focus turned decidedly (and forever more) to tequila. Things gathered steam from there and soon Davide was onto The Hawksmoor, a major player in the soaring food and drink scene then, and still today.
