Dejan Mumovic

Dejan is Professor of Building Performance Analysis and Director of the UCL Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering (IEDE) at the Bartlett. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of CIBSE. His research centres on modelling aspects of building performance, with a particular focus on advanced simulation techniques and the integration of energy and indoor air quality data to inform design. Over the past 25 years, Dejan has led, co-led, or made substantial contributions to 60 research projects and co-authored more than 300 peer-reviewed publications. Twenty-two doctoral researchers have completed their studies under his supervision. Dejan co-founded the CIBSE Education Building Group (formerly the CIBSE School Design Group) in 2008 and served on the editorial board of BSERT until 2021.
