Dennis Goh

Dennis Goh is the co-founder of RFID Research Group, the team behind the Proxmark5 Iceman Edition and other open-source hardware tools for RFID, NFC, and wireless-security research. He focuses on turning specialist security-research projects into commercially sustainable hardware products by bringing together open-source development, community participation, manufacturing, and global distribution. Dennis led the business and crowdfunding strategy for Proxmark5, which raised US$1,036,645 from 3,036 backers in 31 days. Building on the legacy of Proxmark3 and the Iceman firmware community, he works closely with hardware researchers, developers, manufacturers, and security professionals to develop tools that remain open, extensible, and useful in real-world research. His work explores how technical credibility, transparent development, and long-term community trust can help niche hardware projects reach a worldwide market.
