Diana Bensted

Diana is a passionate crochet designer, teacher and maker and the person behind The Crochet Chain. She designs, makes, writes and prints her original patterns. She organises Waltham Abbey Wool Show, and WoollyAway residential weekends. She sells her designs and kits in her online shop, Ravelry, and at Shows. She teaches Crochet classes at shops and at shows from Learn to Crochet to all the different techniques including Tunisian, Broomstick and Freeform. She loves the Knitting and Stitching show at Ally Pally and Harrogate and has been teaching workshop there for many years. She launched her Masterclass Sampler Blanket with the Knitting and Stitching shows in 2020. “I love to teach crochet to pass on my knowledge and skills gained over more than a decade. I design patterns and workshops to help you from your first steps to being a confident crocheter, with simple but ingenious designs that take you further on your crochet journey! “
